The measurement of water content in oil trucks is an important practical problem that urgently needs to be solved in oil fields. Accurately grasping the moisture content of oil trucks can help reduce the human loss of oil products and accurately estimate the oil production in the operation area. The current three-layer sampling method used in oil fields requires workers to perform three-layer sampling operations on the tanker truck, which has disadvantages such as low efficiency, long time consumption, and low accuracy.
Our company's developed online analyzer for water content in the unloading platform measures the water content of the unloading pipeline in real-time during the unloading process. After the unloading is completed, it quickly provides the comprehensive water content value of the vehicle. Workers can accurately calculate the delivered oil tonnage based on the moisture content value provided by the instrument, and also determine whether there are problems such as oil loss during the transportation of the oil truck.

Working principle
It is necessary to add buffer tanks and filter screens at the inlet of the original oil unloading tank. The filter screen can filter out impurities mixed in crude oil, such as plastic bags, waste from roots, cow felt, tree leaves, lead seals, etc., to prevent impurities from blocking the sensing head.
The function of the buffer tank can allow crude oil to flow into the storage tank at a uniform speed, avoiding the problem of uneven flow velocity during the unloading process of the oil truck, and making the calculation of the comprehensive water content of the oil truck more accurate.

1. The electromagnetic wave phase shift detection technology is used to measure the dielectric constant of crude oil, which can be used immediately after power on. It does not contain any radioactive substances and has no moving parts, ensuring high measurement resolution and strong medium adaptability, and is safe and environmentally friendly.
2. The header adopts explosion-proof technology, and the display screen adopts OLED LCD screen, with real-time display of Chinese text and numbers, making debugging convenient.
3. Built in temperature sensor, as the dielectric constant of water decreases with increasing temperature, it can lead to a decrease in the measured moisture content value. Temperature compensation can accurately correct the measurement results, thereby achieving the goal of improving measurement accuracy.
4. The instrument probe is made of stainless steel and can adapt to various corrosive liquids such as acids and alkalis, as well as the vast majority of tested media including organic solvents such as toluene.
