Radar Level Transmitter For Water Level Monitoring

    Radar level transmitter is an advanced and widely used level measurement instrument that can accurately measure the level of liquid and solid. This technology is not affected by gas composition, dust, temperature changes, etc. in the silo and can be applied to various complex working conditions. According to principle, it is mainly divided into three types: 26GHz radar, 80GHz radar, and guided wave radar. Among them, 26GHz radar and 80GHz radar belong to non-contact measurement, while guided wave radar belongs to contact measurement.

   The main advantage of radar Level sensor lies in its non-contact continuous measurement, high speed and all-weather online real-time detection. Therefore, it is not affected by temperature and humidity, fog, muddy water, sludge, aquatic plant and other factors, with high measurement accuracy, simple installation and easy maintenance, and broad application prospects.

   The radar level transmitter adopts the principle of microwave pulse and emits a high-frequency continuous frequency modulated radar signal through its antenna. The transmitted signal is reflected by the medium and received by the antenna as echoes with different frequencies. The frequency change is proportional to the distance and converted to the level height.

In addition to hydrological monitoring stations, reservoirs and other applications, radar Level sensor are more common in urban waterlogging monitoring and early warning systems. The radar level transmitter can conduct real-time monitoring of bridges and culverts, drainage pipelines, channels, sunken roads, underground parking lots, urban river and lake water systems and other points, to provide guarantee for decision-making, emergency and early warning, and to protect the life safety of urban buildings and citizens in rainstorm conditions.

Features of HS-RD radar level transmitter:

  • Non contact measurement

The measurement is not affected by changes in material characteristics or process conditions such as temperature, pressure, or strong dust. The installation and debugging of instruments are simple and basically maintenance free.

  • Large range and small blind spot

The measurement range is 0.1~120m, which basically meets the measurement requirements of on-site working conditions.

  • High accuracy

The accuracy can reach ± 2mm, fully meeting the accuracy requirements of non metrological on-site working conditions.

  • Small antenna size, small beam angle, and strong focusing ability

Convenient for installation

Strong anti-interference ability: Measurement effect is still good under stirring, heating coils, and baffle plates in the tank.

  • Short signal wavelength

Better measurement effect for levels of powder, particles, etc.
