Introduction

HSRD816 is mainly used for liquid measurement with a frequency of 26ghz and a maximum range of 30m. It has a good measurement effect on high temperature, high pressure and slight corrosion occasions because of the structure and material of the signal transmitting part. Because of the high frequency, small blind area and small transmitting angle, it is convenient for on-site installation measurement and high-precision measurement, with stronger anti-interference ability, and also has a good measurement effect on the liquid level measurement of small tank. 

Measurement Principle

The radar level meter antenna transmits extremely short pulses with very low energy.  This pulse propagates in space at the speed of light. When the pulse encounters the surface of the measured medium, the part of its energy is reflected back and received by the same antenna. The time interval between transmitting and receiving pulses is directly proportional to the distance between the antenna and the surface of the measured medium.
